LeBron James Seemingly Blames Hawks Player For Injuring Him Earlier In the Season

LeBron James continues to recover from his ankle injury. In early March, James suffered a major ankle injury against the Atlanta Hawks. The injury was one of the most significant James had suffered in his career. Due to this, he spent a significant amount of time on the sidelines. Upon his return against the Pacers, James looked really good, playing at the same level he had prior to his injury. But he aggravated the injury once again against the Pelicans.

LeBron James not happy with Hawks star

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James spoke to the press after the game against the Pelicans. He noted that he had been playing the best basketball of his career prior to his injury. James is clearly frustrated with the recovery process of his ankle injury. He believed that he had recovered fully from the injury, especially after his display against the Pacers. But after the latest setback against the Pelicans, he must be worried about his chances of recovering during the playoffs. The Lakers will have to go through the Golden State Warriors in the play-in game in order to secure the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

King James frustrated with the recovery process

The Los Angeles Lakers will need LeBron James at or close to 100% in order to try to win the NBA title. Anthony Davis has seemingly recovered well from his calf strain and is playing at the same level that he was last season. But without James at his best, the Lakers will have an even tougher road to win the NBA championship once again. James will be careful with his injury, and probably play reduced minutes to try to maximize his impact on the team.
