Paris Hilton has revealed her fiancé isn’t keen to be in their TV wedding special as she said she was ‘still trying to convince him’.

The OG reality TV icon said businessman Carter Reum, 40, ‘doesn’t like the camera’ as she chatted about her upcoming wedding plans at the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted.

Paris shared: ‘He does not like the camera. He doesn’t go on red carpets, doesn’t do interviews. He’s so focused on his business, and I love that about him.’

Speaking to interviewer Terri Seymour for Extra, and smiling broadly, she continued: ‘Sometimes you never know if people want you for you or for the attention and it’s not like that with him at all, so it’s different than any relationship I’ve ever had – and I like that he shies away from all that.’

So it seems like, despite the fact it takes two to wed (and, you’d think, make a TV show about it), entrepreneurial Paris isn’t in the least bit fazed by her camera-shy fiancé, and in fact revels in his reaction.

Of the upcoming nuptials, she explained: ‘We’re planning it right now, doing the TV show with it as well so everyone will get to see all of the magical moments.’

The successful DJ went on to describe Carter as her ‘Prince Charming’, revealing that she was ‘over the moon’ and felt like she had ‘finally found my fairytale happy ending’.

It sounds like star of The Simple Life has it all in hand, as she shared that ‘everything’ was going to be filmed for the special, including ‘prepping for it, getting ready, the bachelorette party, picking out my dresses’.

The 13-part series, Paris in Love, has been commissioned by NBC’s streaming service Peacock.

Paris recently spoke up to reveal that she never actually wore her infamous ‘Stop Being Poor’ vest, revealing that it never actually existed and was, in fact, Photoshopped.

Debunking the alleged myth on TikTok, Paris claimed that it had actually read ‘Stop Being Desperate’.
