Piers Morgan brands Prince Harry ‘spineless whiny cry baby’ in scathing takedown following podcast
Piers Morgan has not held back in another grievance-airing towards Prince Harry following his appearance on a podcast last week.
Speaking with Dax Shepard on the Armchair Expert recently, Harry reflected upon his childhood and referenced ‘genetic pain’ he believed he, as well as his father, Prince Charles, went through.
He said: ‘There is no blame. I don’t think we should be pointing the finger or blaming anybody, but certainly when it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered, I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on, basically.
‘It’s a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed on anyway so we as parents should be doing the most we can to try and say “you know what, that happened to me, I’m going to make sure that doesn’t happen to you”.’
Not mincing his words, Piers today shared his thoughts on Harry’s podcast appearance and took umbrage with the royal’s take on his upbringing, branding his Archewell company’s ethos to honour the monarchy ‘bullsh*t’.
The former GMB journalist – who implored Harry to ‘grow a pair’ and ‘stop abusing his family, stop moaning about everything all the bloody time, and stop exploiting his royal titles for huge financial gain’ – said the royal has ‘gone from being a courageous war hero to a spineless whiny cry baby’ in the scathing column for Mail Online.
Piers wrote: ‘It’s shameful enough that Harry is once again publicly hammering his father in public like this, just as he did to Oprah when he sounded like a petulant teenager as he berated Charles for cutting him off financially and not taking his calls.
‘But for him to implicitly criticise the Queen and Prince Philip for the ‘genetic pain and suffering’ they supposedly inflicted on Charles which then got inflicted on him is beneath contempt.’
The Life Stories host then said it was ‘time’ for the Queen to show Harry ‘that the Monarchy is bigger than his pathetically bruised, fragile and victimhood-dominated ego’ and to take away his and Meghan’s titles.
He added, again double down on his criticism of the duchess following her interview with Oprah Winfrey in March: ‘Harry’s gone from being a courageous war hero to a spineless whiny cry baby who blames his family for all his supposed woes and who like his wife, shamelessly and cynically weaponises issues like mental health and racism to silence critics.’

Piers’s criticism comes as This Morning’s Phillip Schofield defended Harry’s comments and felt they were taken out of context.
‘I went into it thinking “Oh shut up Harry” but I came out of it thinking “Good on you”,’ Phillip revealed. ‘I thought he was very eloquent when he spoke about mental health.’
He added: ‘But he also said he’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t because no matter what he says, the headlines are cruel, there’s no support for him whatsoever.
‘I understand that he’s done what he’s done and there have been times where what he’s said has not been wise, you don’t want to upset your grandmother because she has just buried her husband, but you can’t talk about mental health without talking about your own experience.’
