Flo Rida is set to represent San Marino at Eurovision 2021 in the Netherlands.

The rapper has confirmed his spot in the competition and will join Senhit on stage to perform her entry titled Adrenalina.

It comes after Senhit reached out to Flo Rida to accompany her. If you don’t ask, you don’t get, people!

Announcing the news, Flo Rida enthused: ‘What’s up Netherlands, it’s your man Flo Rida!

‘I’m so excited to see you guys at the Eurovision Song Contest. I’ll be hitting the stage with the superstar talented Senhit to perform our new record Adrenalina.

‘It’s such a good feeling to be back in Europe after so long. I’m very grateful to be able to perform once again, and on the biggest stage in the world.’

‘Actually, when I invited him to join me on the Eurovision stage back in March, the decision was made there with joy,’ Senhit added.

‘It was not easy to predict the traveling restrictions, but there we go… I’m very happy to have him with me to perform Adrenalina, not only to Europe but to the whole world! We are ready!’

Flo Rida’s line-up announcement comes just hours ahead of the first of the semi-finals.

Tonight’s semi will see Lithuania, Slovenia, Russia, Sweden, Australia, North Macedonia, Ireland, Cyprus, Norway, Croatia, Belgium, Israel, Romania, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Malta compete for 10 places in this Saturday’s grand final.

The second semi-final – which the United Kingdom can vote in – features San Marino, Estonia, Czech Republic, Greece, Austria, Poland, Moldova, Iceland, Serbia, Georgia, Albania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Finland, Latvia, Switzerland and Denmark.

Sara Cox will be presenting this week’s semi-final Eurovision coverage after Rylan Clark-Neal was forced to drop out due to illness.

‘I’m really excited, I’ve got a new little job this week,’ she enthused. ‘I will be co-hosting the Eurovision semi-finals on BBC Four tomorrow night and Thursday night.

‘Rylan is unwell, so obvs we wish him better. So I’ll be stepping into Rylan’s sparkly tux tomorrow and Thursday, 8pm, BBC Four, all the action from the Eurovision semi-finals.’

The Eurovision semi-finals begin at 8pm on BBC Four.
