Hulu has dropped the first teaser for The D’Amelio Show as fans prepare to get a peek into the world of Charli, Dixie and their mom Heidi and dad Marc.
As the ‘First Family of TikTok’, the foursome are already pretty well-known thanks to the constant content shared on multiple social media platforms.
However, the reality series will focus on how the family is adjusting to their newfound fame.
‘We are best friends,’ says Dixie, 19, of sister Charli in the clip as she adds, ‘and other days, we can’t even look at each other.’
The pair are then seen interacting with each other as they are heard talking about how Dixie tries to protect Charli, 17, from some of the negative aspects of their fame.
Mom Heidi is also seen getting emotional while revealing her pride at the success her daughter’s have managed to amass in such a short spell of time.
According to a press release, The D’Amelio Show will follow the teens as they dabble in Hollywood careers and face ‘new challenges and opportunities they could not have imagined’.
Charli will be shown ‘working to balance fame and family, life with dancing, running a budding empire, making new friends in L.A. and battling the naysayers online.’
Meanwhile, their parents also navigate raising teens while ‘supporting their daughters’ dreams and doing the best they can to stay close as a family and protect their girls from the dark side of fame, while also trying to adjust to life in Hollywood.’
Set to debut later this year, the show had actually been in the works for quite some time before it was only officially announced in December.
We’re sure followers of the D’Amelio family will feel it was worth the wait.
An official premiere date for The D’Amelio Show is yet to be confirmed.
