Ten Hag was among those most heavily linked when Jose Mourinho was sacked.

But he then signed a contract extension at Ajax to signal his intention to stay.

But he is now back in at 5/1 second favourite for the job ahead of Graham Potter (6/1) and Roberto Martinez (15/2).

Inzaghi though remains 5/2 favourite. Ryan Mason has been in interim charge and will oversee the final two games of the season when they face Aston Villa on Wednesday and Leicester on Sunday.

Mason is 16/1 to get the job permanently having taken the side for five games so far, which has included three wins and two defeats.

Zinedine Zidane is now in the running at 20/1 with reports in Spain claiming he will depart Real Madrid this summer.

Also at that price is Rafa Benitez, Max Allegri, Nuno Espirito Santo, Maurizio Sarri, Marcelo Bielsa and Christophe Galtier.

Former boss Mauricio Pochetino is 14/1 despite being in charge of PSG.

Zidane’s departure from Madrid would set the managerial merry go round off, and could open another door for Tottenham who have already missed out on Julian Nagelsmann and seemingly Ten Hag.

The French legend, already in his second spell as Madrid boss, hinted he could be on the move at the end of this season, a year before his contract runs out.

He said: “The answer is very boring. There are two games left. I don’t know what will happen after that.

“Anything could happen. This is Real Madrid. People think I would quit because I don’t want responsibility when things get complicated. That is not true. Everything I do I do to my best.

“There comes a time when there must be change because it could be good for everyone. Sometimes you must be there and other times you must leave for the good of everyone.”
