WATCH: UFC Lightweight Justin Gaethje Spars a Fan With $25,000 on the Line

The UFC is a wonderful organization with an amazing horde of sports personalities. As a result, you get a fighter like Justin Gaethje, who takes time off from his intense training schedule to spar a fan for twenty-five thousand dollars on the line.

In a video uploaded by a popular YouTube channel NELK, they sponsor a fan’s bachelor’s party. XcellentMMA re-uploaded the video on their channel. They cut out the rest of the parts and used the footage involving Justin Gaethje.

It was an amazing day with all the regulars of a normal bachelor party, but it also included a sparring session with UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje. Additionally, they also talked to Dana White on a video call where he gave Gaethje an ultimatum to win.

Well, Gaethje didn’t heed Dana White’s words, and the fan got his money. Their original deal was that if the fan lasted 30 seconds in the boxing ring with Gaethje, he would sponsor his wedding by paying the fan twenty-five thousand dollars.

Seeing this bland performance from Gaethje didn’t improve Mike Tyson’s mood as he commented on NELK’s YouTube video, saying, “Call me next time.” The former heavyweight champion of the world recently ended his retirement to show everyone that he still had his killer power and looked good in a comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr.

The video also included a heart-warming scene of Gaethje video calling the fan’s soon-to-be wife and telling her they won the money. It was a great moment for the couple and showed how good-natured Justin Gaethje is at heart.

Justin Gaethje and his prospects in the UFC lightweight division

Gaethje last fought in the main event of UFC 254, where he challenged the former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight crown. However, Khabib choked the American out in the second round and then retired, vacating the belt.

The subsequent title match between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler recently concluded with Oliveira coming out on top. Gaethje will certainly be in the conversation for a title shot along with the winner of the UFC 264 match between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.

Do you think Justin Gaethje can win the title against Oliveira?
