Huge PS5 sale will slash the price of Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sony confirms
SONY has confirmed that it will slash the prices of a host of top PlayStation 5 games this month.
Starting next week, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls and more will go on sale as part of the official PlayStation celebration Days of Play.
The annual event offers players discounted games, special community events and prizes.
This year’s Days of Play sale kicks off on May 26 and runs until June 9, Sony wrote in a blog post.
There are great deals on a selection of PS4 and PS5 games as well as other PlayStation-related products.
They’ll be available online and in-store at participating retailers, and it’s safe to assume they’ll appear on the PlayStation Store, too.

Here are the initial deals, according to PlayStation:
PS5 Games
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – £42.99
- Sackboy A Big Adventure! – £51.99
- Demon’s Souls Remake – £59.99
- Marvel’s Spiderman Ultimate Edition – £59.99
PS4 Games
- Days Gone – £16.99
- Marvel’s Spider-Man – £16.99
- Death Stranding – £16.99
- The Last of Us Part II – £22.99
- Ghost of Tsushima – £30.99
- PS Hits Titles for £11.99
The PS5 discounts aren’t massive, which is partly because the games are still new and partly because they were so expensive to begin with.
The PS4 price cuts, on the other hand, offer more substantial savings.
Don’t forget, the PS5 is backwards compatible, meaning you can buy PS4 games and play them on Sony’s next-gen machine.
Sony hasn’t listed the retailers where the deals will be available just yet.

Sony released the PlayStation 5 worldwide in November 2020.
