Jesy Nelson proves I’m A Celeb is not for her as she freaks out over ‘tarantula’ in her sink
Jesy Nelson revealed that she had an unwanted visitor in her kitchen sink – a giant hairy spider that had turned up to terrorise her.
The former Little Mix star, 29, documented her horror at finding the eight-legged beast in amongst her washing up, posting the ordeal on her Instagram story.
Proving we are sadly unlikely to see her on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here anytime soon, Jesy told her followers: ‘Guys, I just went to do the washing up and I swear to god, it’s like I’m living in the outback…’
Jesy zoomed in on the spider as she squealed: ‘Is that a joke? Is that a joke?! Please guys, I can’t deal. That’s a tarantula.’
She added: ‘For anyone who thinks I’m exaggerating, you can actually see hair, hair on the legs. Jesus f**king Christ!
‘I love how everyone’s going “oh just wash it down the drain.” Erm, I don’t think that’s going to fit down the sink, it’s an actual tarantula!’

Although the spider is likely to be a giant house spider (and is definitely not a tarantula) it’s still not something most people would like to conquer while doing the washing up.
When she’s not been fighting off spiders, Jesy has been documenting her studio sessions as she works on solo music after leaving Little Mix.
She recently told Cosmopolitan about why she decided to work on her own music after leaving the band in December.
‘I feel like there’s been a few people who don’t understand why I left Little Mix but am now in the studio making music,’ she admitted. ‘A lot of people said, “I thought you came out of the band to focus on your mental health?”
‘I never said when I put out my statement, that I was coming out of the band to never be in the public eye, perform again or do music. I said I was coming out of the band because I genuinely couldn’t deal with the pressure of being in a girl band.
‘For people to think that I would just stop working completely is crazy because me working on my mental health is going to the studio, and creating music that I love. That’s what clears my head and makes me happy. It’s good for my mental health.’
