Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she has passed her driving test on her second try after admitting it has been a ‘journey’ to get behind the wheel.

The former Love Island star, 21, shared a photo of her pass certificate, writing: ‘This is the happiest day of my life. I literally can’t believe it.’

She then posted a snap of her smiling and covering her mouth with her sleeve, adding: ‘I can’t stop smiling. This has been such a journey for me. I really never thought I’d pass my test.

‘I was always such a nervous learner but the @thepasspeople were able to find me an amazing instructor who got me to this point! (I’ve had five instructors before). They also sorted a test out so soon. OVER THE MOON.’

Molly had previously taken her test in a manual car but switched to an automatic for her latest test.

She revealed last year that she had to pull over during her last driving test as she was crying after messing up a few manoeuvres.

Her confession came after a follower asked whether she could drive during a Q&A on Instagram, to which she replied: ‘I had my first automatic lesson the other day.

‘I had manual lessons but I’m traumatised to this day from what happened on my manual test so never again.

‘Fuming that I have to retake my theory though because it was so long ago, I don’t wanna talk about it.’

Molly-Mae later explained what happened: ‘Rolled backwards down a hill, hit a curb (badly), had to pull over the car because I basically cried my eyes out the whole way through.

‘It’s a day I don’t like to talk about. Nerves and me don’t go hand-in-hand.’
