WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac Hints at a Potential Final Run in WWE Before Retirement

WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman aka X-Pac is one of the finest light heavyweight wrestlers to grace the squared circle. His style was unlike any other, and it earned respect among the top guns. Waltman was famous for his fast-paced, high-flying matches. And of course, the Bronco Buster!

Recently, the D-Generation X member revealed that he still has a few more matches left in the tank. He had knee issues, but he underwent surgery. Now that he is a 100%, he is looking to close the chapter of his pro wrestling career.

Will Sean Waltman aka X-Pac end his career in WWE?

In a recent interview with Kenny McIntosh of Inside the Ropes, X-Pac talked about his coaching stint in NXT and also his potential return to the ring. The former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion revealed he coached at the WWE Performance Center twice a month before the pandemic began.

Although he doesn’t fly to the PC to coach anymore, he is still open to doing it if they ever call him again. After talking about his time as a coach in NXT, Sean Waltman also touched upon the topic of his final matches, something that has been the talk of the town since he announced successful knee surgery.

He said, “As far as getting back in the ring, you know, I’m going to have a few more matches. I don’t know if it’s going to be there. I don’t know where it’s going to be. Maybe I’ll promote them myself. Yeah. You know, but yeah. No, NXT I just I’m one of their biggest fans.”

Last month, Waltman aka X-Pac teased a dream match with Sami Zayn after the latter revealed he actually pitched the match to WWE creative three years ago. Well, given the history between X-Pac and Sami Zayn as El Generico on the indies, it would make a perfect comeback match in his ‘unofficial’ retirement tour.

Alongside Sami, there are tons of WWE Superstars X-Pac could face in the final run of his career. However, if it happens to be in WWE or not remains to be seen. Given the close friendship between Triple H and X-Pac, we could very well see him end his career there. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
