1000lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton denies new boyfriend is ‘clout chasing’ as fans question romance
1000lbs Sisters star Tammy Slaton has been forced to defend her new relationship after fans claimed her boyfriend is using her for fame.
Following her rocky relationship with married ex-boyfriend Jerry Sykes, Tammy has moved on with her new boo – who calls himself the ‘BBW king’.
However, fans immediately questioned the relationship with some warning that the lover of ‘big beautiful women’ is clout-chasing and trying to get air time.
Writing on TikTok, one fan stated: ‘Girl, he just wants to be on the show.’
In response to another fan, Tammy explained: ‘Jerry and I have been over for months now. I’ve got someone so much better and I’m finally truly happy.’
The bbw king – who has over 55,000 followers on TikTok – then commented on her post as well with heart emojis.
Elsewhere, others fan argued her boyfriend would set Tammy back on her mission to lose weight as his social media bio states he doesn’t like women under 300 pounds.
‘I love you Tammy but idk about this because his bio says he likes bbws (big beautiful women) and that’s not what you need right now,’ a concerned follower commented.
Another wrote: ‘Just remember he doesn’t love you if he doesn’t support your health.’
The comments led Tammy’s boyfriend to make a video denying the claims, as he wrote: ‘Clout? really that’s the best yall can say? Just know I’m 10000% sure I make more money than yall do.’
A friend also spoke out in his defense as the woman clapped back: ‘He is not using her for clout. Look I am friends with him. He likes big girls. He is not fetishizing them at all. He’s not, no.’
Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Tammy shared a series of loved-up snaps in which she could be seen kissing her boyfriend.
However, she was forced to turn comments off on her account as fans were quick to share their concerns.
Let’s hope this relationship plays out better than her last after TLC cameras caught the moment he decided to call time on his romance with the openly pansexual reality star.
1000lb Sisters follows Kentucky siblings Amy and Tammy – who had a combined weight of more than 1,000lbs – and their mission to lose weight.
