“I Couldn’t Be More Prepared” – Josh Taylor Reveals His Mindset for the Jose Ramirez Fight

On May 22nd, the stout super-lightweights, Josh Taylor and Jose Ramirez will lock horns with each other. The duo is all charged up to box each other for the undisputed 140-pound championship.

In a pre-fight interview, the Scottish boxer, Josh Taylor, spoke to Seconds Out. In the chat, he revealed his mindset for the biggest, perhaps the most awaited fight of his career.

“I’m nice and relaxed. Listen, I’m totally relaxed about this week. I couldn’t be any more prepared, any more mentally and physically prepared. I’ve prepared the best of my ability so I’m nice relaxed, not wasting any energy and thinking about the fighting thing. It’s just another day at the office on Saturday,” said Taylor.

Taylor made himself viable for this undisputed title fight after claiming a thrilling KO win over Apinun Khongsong in September 2020. Prior to this, he had a string of wins that made him one top-notch talent in the super-lightweight roster.
