Olivia Rodrigo’s rumored ex-boyfriend Joshua Bassett might want to avoid listening to the singer’s album track Traitor, as she sounds off against an ex.

The Driver’s License hitmaker dropped her debut album Sour today and fans have been getting their lives to the angsty heartbreak anthems the 17-year-old has delivered with the project.

However, it’s the lyrics for Traitor that have really raised some eyebrows, with fans flocking to Twitter to once again claim that the source of inspiration is Olivia’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series co-star.

For those who didn’t know, Olivia and Joshua, 20, play a couple in the Disney+ series and it was rumored that they were also in a real-life relationship.

However, things allegedly didn’t work out and Joshua was then linked to fellow Disney star Sabrina Carpenter, 22.

If the lyrics of Traitor are anything to go by, Olivia did not take the news of her alleged ex’s new romance very well.

‘And ain’t it funny how you ran to her / The second that we called it quits? / And ain’t it funny how you said you were friends? / Now it sure as hell don’t look like it,’ she sings in the pre-chorus of the song.

The lyrics to the chorus continue to paint the picture fans have been imagining as she sings: ‘You talked to her when we were together / Loved you at your worst but that didn’t matter / It took you two weeks to go off and date her / Guess you didn’t cheat, but you’re still a traitor.’

Naturally, listeners couldn’t get over the sassy lyrics as one wrote: ‘Has anyone checked on Joshua Bassett? Traitor kinda ended him.’

Another tweeted: ‘joshua bassett i just listened to traitor and you are officially in time out again.’

‘OMFG JOSHUA BASSETT IS TRENDING AGAIN. IDK but the song #TRAITOR hits f**king HARD,’ one fan added.
