Tyson Fury Claims His Best Is Yet to Come – ‘I’ve Never Had a Good Enough Challenge to Bring It Out of Me’
The heavyweight division is one of the most exciting in the sport right now. And the division has come to life in the last few days after all the drama. Given the collapse of the undisputed title bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, fans will get to witness a few more exciting fights.
Despite announcing he would face Anthony Joshua on August 14, Fury has to face Deontay Wilder next. Reports suggest the pair could meet as early as July 24. And ahead of the trilogy with ‘The Bronze Bomber,’ Fury has revealed he is still not at his best.
The 30-0-1 boxer spoke on the Pug and Copp Boxing Show and claimed no one has seen the best of him. “No one’s ever seen what I can do because I’ve never had a good enough challenge to bring it out of me. Not even Klitschko, the great Klitschko,” said Fury.
‘The Gypsy King’ then added, “He wasn’t even good enough to bring the best out of me. None of these bu*s are. When we find a man, from my era, who is good, really good, then you’ll see the best of ‘The Gypsy King.’”

Will we see the best of Tyson Fury in the trilogy?
These comments from the WBC champion showed his confidence in his ability. Furthermore, the facts back up his words since he came back from a three-year-long hiatus which included bad habits and still showed his class against Wilder in the first bout. So will the trilogy bring out the real Fury?
Based on his comments, ‘The Gypsy King’ is confident none of the current fighters will push him to bring out the best. In addition, Fury completely outclassed Wilder in the second fight, and according to Fury, that was not even his best.
Wilder has not fought since the second bout and has changed his trainer. Moreover, if they are to fight on July 24, it gives him lesser time to prepare. Therefore, it is unlikely that the American will push Fury to reach his best.
What do you make of these comments from Tyson Fury? Do you think Deontay Wilder should be worried?
