Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder Trilogy Targeted for July 24th, Fury vs Joshua in Jeopardy

After pouring cold water on the encounter between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder has now put himself in a picture for a trilogy against ‘The Gypsy King’. The ex-WBC champ proceeded with the matters legally and the arbitrator ruled in his favor. Moreover, the arbitrator even stated that the trilogy should happen by September 15, 2021.

But as per ESPN’s Ben Baby, it is reported Wilder and Fury have verbally agreed to fight each other on July 24 at an undisclosed location in Vegas.

With these ongoing discussions between Wilder and Fury’s teams, it’s clear that the undisputed fight between ‘AJ’ and his compatriot is off the cards for now.

The first fight between the Alabama native and ‘The Gypsy King’ took place in 2018. Many expected Wilder to go full throttle against the former and knock him out in the early rounds itself. Yet, the Brit took the entire fight world by storm as he boxed until the final bell.

Fury gave ‘The Bronze Bomber’ a tough outing and displayed a champion mentality. However, the fight ended in a tragic draw, opening the doors for an enigmatic rematch. With that, in February 2020, the duo collided yet again, and this time it was Tyson Fury, who went all guns blazing.

He knocked Wilder down multiple times in this fight, handing him his first career loss.

Can Deontay Wilder turn the tables in a trilogy against Tyson Fury?

Although the trilogy hasn’t fetched any official status yet, the ex-WBC champ has begun preparing for this fight in his own way. It seems, ‘The Bronze Bomber’, who took notes of his mistakes, is working hard to ensure that they aren’t there for Fury to exploit in their next fight.

Additionally, this contest is highly important for Wilder to escalate his boxing stint from hereon. If he secures a win against his foe, he’ll open himself up for an undisputed title fight. However, a loss could condemn him to the wilderness at heavyweight.

It’ll be interesting to see how things shape up for Deontay Wilder in this trilogy. Do you see it going down on July 24?
