Call of Duty Warzone: How To Complete All the 80’s Action Heroes Challenges

The mid-season update for Call of Duty arrived on May 20th, 2021. Unlike previous mid-season updates, this one moves away from the ‘Reloaded’ concept and introduces the theme of ’80’s action heroes’. Fans were already expecting stars like John McClane and Rambo in the game, however, it seems that Activision has gone above and beyond with this new update.

Both the Rambo and John McClane bundles are now available in the store. The Rambo bundle includes Sylvester Stallone’s attire from Rambo: First Blood alongside blueprints and accessories. Players can also perform the iconic “Leap Shot” finishing move after purchasing this bundle.

On the other hand, players who purchase the Die Hard bundle will earn a John McClane skin, weapon blueprints, and the “Hidden Gun” finishing move. Both bundles are currently available for the price of 2400 CoD points each.

New challenges in Call of Duty Warzone

The arrival of this new event has also bought new in-game challenges for Warzone players to complete. These challenges utilize and showcase new points of interest added with the update, such as the Nakatomi Plaza, Survival Camps, and CIA Outpost.

Upon completing these challenges you will unlock new shiny rewards ranging from player profile items to stickers, a new Arcade game, and Weapon Charms.

The list of challenges include:

  • First Blood by being the first member of your squad to get a kill.
  • Get 15 kills with Explosive weapons or Lethal Equipment.
  • In Power Grab, collect 50 Dog Tags.
  • In Power Grab, reach the final circle 5 times.
  • Eliminate 25 enemy agents during the Arms Deal Public Event.
  • Survive a jump to the ground from the top of the Nakatomi Tower.
  • Complete any one of the three side missions at Nakatomi Tower.
  • Collect 3 Rambo POW Dog Tags.
  • Get 3 kills with the Combat Bow Killstreak.

While most of these challenges are very straightforward, here are some tips to keep in mind. If you are playing with friends, ask them to assist you with your challenges. The top of the Nakatomi Tower is the area with the helipad. If you jump from lower the challenge will not be completed.

Since these challenges are new, most players are in a rush to complete them. Waiting a few days will make it less competitive and easier to complete. Have you completed any of the mid-season challenges yet? Let us know in the comments down below.
