Flo Rida made a comeback to public consciousness after announcing he was to represent San Marino at Eurovision 2021 in the Netherlands.

The rapper confirmed his spot in the competition ahead of joining Senhit on stage to perform her entry titled Adrenalina.

It came after Senhit reached out to Flo Rida to accompany her. If you don’t ask, you don’t get, people!

Announcing the news, Flo Rida enthused: ‘What’s up Netherlands, it’s your man Flo Rida!

‘I’m so excited to see you guys at the Eurovision Song Contest. I’ll be hitting the stage with the superstar talented Senhit to perform our new record Adrenalina.

‘It’s such a good feeling to be back in Europe after so long. I’m very grateful to be able to perform once again, and on the biggest stage in the world.’

‘Actually, when I invited him to join me on the Eurovision stage back in March, the decision was made there with joy,’ Senhit added.

How old is Flo Rida?

Flo Rida’s age is 41.

Real name Tramar Lacel Dillard, he is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Carol City, Florida.

His 2007 single Low was number one for 10 weeks in the United States and it broke the records for digital download sales at the time.

The musician’s debut studio album Mail on Sunday, released in 2008, reached number four in the US.

Mail on Sunday was succeeded by R.O.O.T.S in 2009 and he released subsequent albums Only One Flo (Part 1) in 2010 and Wild Ones in 2012.

He sold more than 80million records worldwide.

What are Flo Rida’s most well-known songs?

Low (2007)

Low was the debut single from Flo Rida and it featured fellow rapper T-Pain.

A combination of a rapping, a heavy bass and pop melodies ensured it was a chart success in 2007.

Right Round (2009)

This was the lead single from Flo Rida’s second album R.O.O.T.S. and it sampled a vocal from Dead or Alive’s You Spin Me Round (Like a Record).

It was became known for featuring an uncredited vocal from Kesha before she was famous.

Sugar (2009)

Sampling Eiffel 65’s 1999 hit Blue (Da Ba Dee), this song featuring Wynter Gordon was released in 2009.

It reached number 10 on the US rap chart but climbed higher on the pop chart.

Club Can’t Handle Me (2010)

This track was recorded for the soundtrack to movie Step Up 3D.

Flo Rida collaborated with David Guetta on this huge international hit.

Good Feeling (2011)

Good Feeling was the first release from Flo Rida’s fourth studio album Wild Ones.

It sampled vocals from Etta James’ 1962 song Something’s Got a Hold On Me which was also used in Avicii’s hit Levels.

Wild Ones (2011)

Flo Rida collaborated with Australian singer Sia for this smash which peaked at number 10 in 20 different countries.

I Cry (2012)

This was Flo Rida’s fourth top 10 hit and it was taken from his Wild Ones album.

It reached number three on the UK singles chart and number six in the US.

Whistle (2012)

This single caused controversy for its sexually suggestive lyrics when it was released as the third single from Wild Ones.

However, it reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US.

G.D.F.R (2015)

Flo Rida had another hit with this after a series of singles which didn’t set the charts alight in the same way as his previous releases.

The title of this hip hop track stands for Going Down For Real.

My House (2015)

This was the title release from the E.P. of the same name and it was released as the third single from the album.

It was the disc’s second top 10 hit.
