Mark Wright draws on personal experience to claim working out boosts sex drive: ‘It all goes hand in hand’
Mark Wright insists maintaining good health and a toned body is a good boost for a higher sex drive.
The fitness fanatic, 34, who is married to actress Michelle Keegan, 33, has drawn on his life experience to offer romance tips to fans.
He told The Sun: ‘I know from friends and from myself how working out makes you smile and makes you feel good.
‘If you’re feeling fit and you’ve got stamina, that helps your sex life. If you’re feeling toned and healthy, that will improve your sex life.
‘I think having a healthy sex life is proven to help the mind and relieve stress. It all goes hand in hand.
‘I can’t say you can’t have a good sex life if you don’t feel good in your body, but you’ll definitely have a better sex life if you do.’
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark released a book this month called Get Fit, Get Healthy, Get Happy: The Ultimate Guide to Being in the Best Shape of Your Life.
And it’s not just his professional life that’s going well – the radio host is in the middle of building his own home with Michelle after knocking down a £1.3million property in Essex.
Mark revealed to Metro.co.uk: ‘It’s going really well. It’s stressful, of course, building your house from scratch, you don’t want to get anything wrong and just choosing all the right stuff. It’s also very exciting at the same time.’
He and Michelle are putting their own stamp on every element of their home as they are fully involved in the design process.
The couple are yet to disagree over the décor of their new abode and he can’t wait to move into the palatial five-bedroom home.
He said: ‘We’ve both got the same taste. I’ve made sure there’s a gym in there because I like to be able to train at home.
‘It’s going really well and we’re excited. We just want to get it done now.’
