Tennis World Gives Its Best Wishes to Novak Djokovic as He Turns 34
In the men’s game, Novak Djokovic is one of the most hard-working players. His domination in recent years has been unmatched. The Serb has won more than a dozen Grand Slam titles over the past decade and shows no sign of slowing down. Today, he celebrates his 34th birthday.
As the Serbian star turns a year older, there are many prominent names from the tennis world that have wished Novak Djokovic on this special occasion. Tennis great like Billie Jean King, Australian Open director Craig Tiley and all the various Grand Slam organizations have sent Novak birthday greetings.
Billie Jean King stated, “Happy birthday to 18x Grand Slam champion and World No. 1, Novak Djokovic!”
Craig Tiley said, “Happy birthday to our reigning nine-time #AusOpen champion Novak Djokovic. Good luck at Roland Garros and have a great day Nole.”
The social media account of Wimbledon added, “If we could send you a birthday cake made out of the grass, we would Novak Djokovic!”
It was followed by the Australian Open and they said, “King of Melbourne Happy birthday to 9x #AusOpen champion Novak Djokovic.”
Roland Garros too stated, “A very happy birthday to our 2016 champion, Novak Djokovic.”
US Open wished, “18 Grand Slam titles World No. 1 for 321 weeks & counting 82 career singles titles Happy Birthday, Novak Djokovic.”

Novak Djokovic won his 9th Australian Open title this year
Moving onto tennis, Djokovic began the year on a great note, winning his 18th Grand Slam title in Melbourne. After that, he surpassed Roger Federer in holding the top spot in rankings for the most number of weeks.
He took a break from the Tour and returned back on the clay courts of Monte Carlo. He even competed in the ATP Serbia Open in Belgrade. Unfortunately, he did not see through the events and fell short.

However, in the last week, he did showcase top-quality tennis in the Italian capital, Rome. Although he lost to Rafael Nadal in the final, they played an amazing match of the highest quality.
Nonetheless, it’s his 34 birthday today and he deserves to celebrate this great occasion. He will be seen soon in Paris, looking to lift his second French Open title.
