Tyson Fury has been the main attraction of the sport over the last week. He first announced the undisputed title bout against Anthony Joshua. However, a day later, Deontay Wilder won his arbitration case, and Fury had to face ‘The Bronze Bomber.’

Fans now have a big update about the trilogy between the current WBC champion and the former champion. Reports suggest the pair could meet as early as July 24, and some even claim Wilder has already signed his contract. And now, Fury has made an announcement of his own.

The 30-0-1 boxer hilariously crashed the telecast of the Jose Ramirez vs. Josh Taylor bout and revealed, “I just signed the Deontay Wilder contract. B***h, you’re getting knocked out. Knocked out!” Thus, he confirmed he has agreed to face ‘The Bronze Bomber’ next.

However, this is all Fury said and left. Therefore, he revealed no more information regarding the bout. Regardless of this, the news will excite fans who will be happy to see the champion back in action sooner than expected.

What do we know about the Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder bout?

The news confirmed that both parties finished negotiations, and only the announcement is pending. Therefore, fans can expect an official announcement with the date and venue soon. So what do we already know about the fight?

We know that this time Fury will earn more than Wilder since he is the champion. The rematch clause included that the winner would get a 60/40 share of the earnings, and since Fury won, he will now earn more than the American.

In addition, we also know that Fury and his team had the option to pay Wilder step-aside money to make the Anthony Joshua fight. However, the American demanded $20 million, and ‘The Gypsy King’ did not want to entertain that.

Furthermore, Bob Arum has already confirmed they are looking for venues for July 24 and already have a booking in place. Thus, the fight is all but official at this point.
