Kevin Lee Set for a Return Back to Welterweight- Will Take On Sean Brady
Kevin Lee has been out of action for over a year. The former interim lightweight title challenger is set to make his comeback later this year. Although, this time around he will be fighting in a different weight class. ‘The Motown Phenom’ has decided to move up a weight class to 170-pounds where he will be fighting for the second time in the UFC.
Lee has not had a good run of form and is 2-3 in his last five fights. He will be aiming to turn that around in a weight class where he will not have to drain himself completely to make weight. Lee has notoriously struggled to hit the 155-pound mark a few times now. A move up to 170-pounds might help him perform a lot better.

Can Sean Brady make a statement against Kevin Lee?
Lee made his next move clear when he stated on Twitter that he would be moving up a weight class. Following his loss to Al Iaquinta, Lee decided to move up to welterweight and faced ‘RDA’ in May 2019. The fight did not go his way as he succumbed to a submission loss.

Lee then decided to move back down to 155-pounds where he fought twice. ‘The Motown Phenom’ secured a stunning win over Gregor Gillespie, before succumbing to a loss against current champion Charles Oliveira. A fight he failed to make weight for.
Brady called out Lee on Twitter stating that he needed an opponent and was willing to welcome him back to 170-pounds. Recent reports suggest that Brady has got his man. A tweet put out by Brett Okamoto suggests that Lee will take on Sean Brady in his return to welterweight. The date and venue for the fight have not been confirmed right now.

Brady is currently undefeated and is riding a 14 fight win streak. It will be incredibly impressive if he is able to secure a win over a former title contender in just his fifth fight with the promotion. Lee on the other hand will be hoping to get back to winning ways and establish himself in the welterweight division.
