Where is SAS: Who Dares Wins filmed?
SAS: Who Dares wins is filmed in the challenging terrain of Scotland’s rugged West Coast.
The recruits will leave their daily lives behind and head to the remote island of Raasaywhere they will be exposed to Scotland’s unforgiving weather, harsh landscape and volatile seas.
Raasay or the Isle of Raasay is an island between the Isle of Skye and the mainland of Scotland. It is separated from Skye by the Sound of Raasay and from Applecross by the Inner Sound.
The 2011 census recorded that just 161 people live on the island, which is most famous for being the birthplace of Gaelic poet Sorley MacLean, an important figure in the Scottish Renaissance.
