A WrestleMania Rematch Between Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley Set for WWE Hell in a Cell 2021

With a big win over Asuka on Monday Night Raw, it looks like Charlotte Flair is the new number one contender for the Raw Women’s Championship. She will face Rhea Ripley in a huge WrestleMania 36 rematch at Hell in a Cell 2021.

While Rhea Ripley stands the chance to redeem her enormous loss to Flair at WrestleMania last year, the challenger stands to gain something more impressive. By beating Ripley for the second time in her career, Charlotte can become a ten-time Women’s Champion.

To become the top contender, Flair knocked off Asuka on Raw. The former Raw Women’s Champion tried her best to repeat the win from last week, but the Queen outsmarted her. After an incredible match between two of the divisions best, Flair rolled up Asuka to pick up a big win.

Asuka busted out her entire arsenal and exhausted every move, waiting for Flair to make a mistake. The clinical Queen dissected her opponent and outsmarted her by landing on her feet off a moonsault, which led to the finish. Flair followed up the moonsault with a standing moonsault for a nearfall, before reversing an Asuka Lock attempt into a pinning combination.

With this win Flair can do what no other wrestler has managed, i.e., beat Rhea Ripley twice on PPV. Will Flair become a ten-time champion or will Ripley avenge her humiliating loss from WrestleMania 36?

Ripley gets embarrassed on WWE Raw

WWE often books their champions like chumps, and that was a trend seen throughout the show. From Bobby Lashley faced with a potential ninety-day suspension to AJ Styles being pinned by Jaxon Ryker, and then Rhea Ripley suffering an embarrassing loss to Nikki Cross.

Rhea Ripley approached Charlotte Flair backstage, demotivating her before her big match against Asuka. However, Nikki Cross appeared out of nowhere and claimed she could beat both Flair and Ripley at the same time. Charlotte extended a Beat the Clock challenge to Ripley, who accepted, thinking she could beat Cross within the limited time.

Unfortunately, Ripley lost track of time while wailing away at Nikki, giving her a stupid yet huge win. After that. Flair walked out and mocked her opponent, before beating Asuka and booking a date with destiny at Hell in a Cell.
