Alexa Bliss has been left ‘completely heartbroken’ by the death of her beloved pig Larry-Steve.

The WWE superstar is devastated after her loss which came after several vets refused to treat him.

Sharing a touching photo of her holding his trotter, she wrote: ‘On the day before his 4th birthday. This morning Larry-Steve gained his Angel wings.

‘I’m so sorry we couldn’t find you the help you needed in time. Some people didn’t agree to help you.

‘But I want you to know Larry, YOUR LIFE MATTERED. We are completely heartbroken.’

On Monday, Alexa had revealed Larry-Steve – who appeared in Bowling For Soup’s music video Alexa Bliss – was ‘in a lot of pain’ and couldn’t ‘move or walk’, and his usual vet wasn’t ‘comfortable treading him in his current condition’.

She called to her Instagram followers to help with recommendations as she explained that ‘most vets are not comfortable treating pigs’.

She later added: ‘I am so thankful and overwhelmed with the amount of people who have reached out about vets to try to help Larry. I have called every single number given to me. Unfortunately Most places who claim to treat pigs do not anymore.

‘The only vet that has agreed to see him out of 13 different numbers I’ve called now is two hours away. No one makes house calls.

‘Unfortunately in the state that Larry is in right now there is absolutely no way we are going to be able to transport him. He is in too much pain and weak’.

Alexa was frustrated by the response she received from most vets, with someone even hanging up as soon as she mentioned Larry was a pig.

She still went to work for Monday Night Raw – although she wasn’t used on television – and her family stayed with her pet.

‘I’ve been talking to him on speakerphone during my drive,’ she explained. ‘And it is heartbreaking that all I can do is just listen to him squeal in pain and no one will come help.

‘No one will even just come and give him pain meds to help take care of his pain. It’s very heartbreaking to know that people will not help an animal just because he’s a pig.’

AEW wrestler Cash Wheeler offered to help load Larry so he could be transferred, but he was in ‘too much pain’.

Once a vet did agree to give him pain medicine, they were still having to wait until he could be transferred.

Sadly, Larry-Steve died before they could make the move.
