Comedian Stevo Timothy Lauds Conor McGregor for His Generosity

The UFC superstar, Conor McGregor, has made the news once more. However, this time it’s not about a brawl or any other controversial act. ‘The Notorious’ has donated €10,000 for a charity wheelchair boxing match. The charity match is scheduled between Paddy Barnes and Stevo Timothy. The latter posted a video message thanking ‘The Notorious’ for his noble donations.

Stevo Timothy said “Hi everyone, I just had to do a quick video because a few minutes ago I upped the GoFundMe to 10 grand and I thought that was a bit mad. By the way, I’m fighting Paddy Barnes in a wheelchair boxing match in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association. So I upped the limit to €10,000 and thought that was a bit presumptuous of me, given that it was only at €1,800. Anyway, Conor McGregor just retweeted it and donated €10,000.”

Timothy continues, “I’m really excited. Thank you so much, Conor and I appreciate that hugely. It’s not even the money, it’s just that you donating to it will get other people interested… And obviously, we want to f**king raise as much as we possibly can, so thank you so much Conor. I appreciate it you are a gem.”

The donation from Conor McGregor could generate more money for the charity

The donation made by McGregor is making the news. This, in turn, will see more people informed about the charity boxing match which was nearly unheard of in the past few days. Hence, there may be a possibility of more money being generated for charity.

Stevo Timothy is a comedian who has been raising funds for multiple charities for a while now. Previously, the comedian raised over sixty-three thousand euros for a charity. Now, he is ready for his latest charity event against former Olympic bronze medalist boxer Paddy Barnes. Barnes represented Ireland from 2008 to 2016 for three consecutive Olympics.

He is all set to put on his boxing gloves once again to raise funds for a greater cause. One that has attracted Conor McGregor’s attention. What did you make of ‘The Notorious’ noble gesture?
