Massive PS5 UK restock planned for June – Very in stock now
It seems there won’t be long to wait for the next major drop of PS5 consoles in the UK, as Amazon, GAME, and John Lewis prepare to get more.
May has seen almost every UK retailer get a major influx of new PlayStation 5 consoles to sell, which based on previous months suggests there probably wouldn’t be many to go around in June – but apparently that’s not the case.
Twitter stock checkers like PS5 UK Stock – Instant Updates and PS5 Stock UK are predicting that Amazon and John Lewis will get a ‘huge’ amount of stock in for sometime between June 2 and 9. Amazon.co.uk will apparently be getting a delivery of at least 10,000 consoles, the same as May.
GAME will also be getting stock in during the first week of June, which is predicted to be around 9,000 standard models and 6,200 Digital Editions.
In the meantime, Very are expected to release their stock either today or tomorrow. They usually do so between 9 and 11am, so it’s a fairly small window that you need to keep an eye on them for.
(Update: Very’s stock is available right now, as of 9am on Wednesday, for either the standard disc version or the Digital Edition.)
ShopTo also got stock last night and, as you’d imagine, sold out almost instantly. But then it probably had significantly less than Amazon and GAME are getting.
Tesco is also expected to begin pre-orders sometime between today and Wednesday, June 2. Although they’re not thought to have as much as the other retailers.
Other stores are likely to get more stock over the next few weeks too, with every indication being that the pace of new stock drops will continue to increase as the year goes on.
