NBA Fraternity Reacts to the Dominant Show of James Harden & Blake Griffin in Brooklyn Nets’ Win

The Brooklyn Nets are going merciless against the Celtics and it’s now seeming more like a curse that the C’s won their play-in tie. After taking Game 1 with an impressive second-half comeback, the Nets completely ousted the Greens in Game 2 and won the night at Barclay Center 130-108.

The game started with Kyrie Irving’s free throws, Kevin Durant’s three-pointer on a James Harden assist, and a dunk shot from Blake Griffin, all within 75 seconds. However, the Celtics were still showing some character until Joe Harris started dropping deep bombers. A few turnovers from the C’s and there went the deficit out of their reach.

The greatest blow to the Celtics came with Jayson Tatum having a slow start and scoring at a meager 3/12. However, it became worse when Kevin Durant mistakenly poked the eye of the star forward when he had played for just 21 minutes. Later, the 23-YO with a swollen eye could not return to play the remaining minutes in the game. Later, both KD and Kyrie Irving took advantage of the C’s loss and forced them off the cliff.

Take a look at how the NBA fraternity reacted to the great game from the Nets –

The entire Brooklyn Nets roster contributed, and that’s scary for the Celtics

James Harden dropped four threes and assumed the #6 position in the all-time playoff three-point leaders list. He is now just four more deep-range shots away from breaking the record of Spurs legend Manu Ginobili. Starting forward Joe Harris added seven threes from his end at 70% efficacy, making it an unforgettable 2-way night for the 29-YO.

Secondly, it was a classic Blake Griffin show on Tuesday night, with the star scoring back-to-back dunks in Q3. In totality, eight of the Nets players had an FG% of over 50%, and that kind of briefs the entire tale.

Earlier, Jeff Green (12 mins) had injured his left foot but the Nets offense seemed to pay no heed. This game further proved how this Brooklyn side is unmatchable if their opponents don’t have a world-class defense to stop them.
