What May’s total lunar eclipse and blood moon in Sagittarius mean for YOUR star sign
WITH the first eclipse of the season and ballsy blood moon happening in May, it’s fair to say this month is full on.

Feeling all the feels
We really need to talk about the eclipse. The first one of the year happens this month and it’s lunar, total and falls under the sign of Sagittarius.
Over several hours on May 26, the Moon will pass through Earth’s shadow, causing it to darken and usually become reddish in colour.
An eclipse occurs when the moon appears darkened as it passes into the Earth’s shadow, with Earth being located between the moon and the sun.
The last total lunar eclipse seen in the UK took place on January 21, 2019.
It was referred to as a Super Wolf Blood Moon – because it was a supermoon, a total eclipse and a full moon, with the given name Wolf.
The red colour comes from sunlight filtering through Earth’s atmosphere – a ring of light created by all the sunrises and sunsets happening around our planet at that time.
The UK hasn’t experienced a total lunar eclipse since two years ago, and unfortunately it won’t see this one.
We’ll have to wait until next year for that – it’s claimed the next total lunar eclipse visible from the UK will be on 16 May, 2022 and will last for 41 minutes.
The best places to see the celestial phenomenon this year include Australia, parts of the western US, western South America and Southeast Asia .
Not only is this a spectacular event to witness, it’s also extremely important astrologically whether you can see it or not.
