Lady Gaga has posted a picture of herself in a bikini, lying on a pavement, because, well, why not?

In fairness to the star, not only does she look fabulous in her blue tie-dyed two-piece, but there is actually some ocean in shot, just beyond a chunk of grass and shrubbery.

In the two shots, the multi-hyphenate singer and actor (for starters) shows off her vine leaf design back tattoos and appears to be enjoying a nice drink on the pavement too, as shown by the wine glass at her foot.

Gaga simply captioned her two bikini shots with a mermaid emoji, but her fans were all over the upload, sharing their praise for the star.

‘Hot damn gaga’, wrote influencer Nicol Concilio, with four fire emojis, while another commented: ‘my eyes are blessed’.

One joked: ‘Lady Gaga serving cake and it’s not even my birthday’.

Others were enjoying the long, brunette hairstyle she displayed, with one fan reminded of her Oscar-nominated role.

‘Gaga with brown hair gets reminds me of star is born [sic]. Gets me in my feels.’

The star’s downtime comes after a busy period, with her wrapping filming on the upcoming movie House of Gucci in Rome earlier this month.

Directed by Ridley Scott, the film sees Gaga as Patrizia Regianni, who was convicted of plotting the 1995 murder of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver, for which she was jailed for 18 years.

She also heartbreakingly revealed on the first episode of Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry’s show, The Me You Can’t See, that she became pregnant at 19 following a sexual assault by an unnamed music producer.

Gaga went on to write the song Til It Happens To You with Dianne Warren for the documentary The Hunting Ground, which detailed the issue of campus rape in the United States.

She gave a powerful rendition of the song at the 2016 Oscars, with 50 survivors of sexual assault joining her on stage.
