The Masked Singer US crowned Piglet as the winner with 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey being revealed to be underneath the glorious costume.

The multi-platinum artist beat pop star JoJo, who came second place as the Black Swan, with Wiz Khalifa unmasked as the Chameleon in third place.

Explaining what brought him to the competition in the first place, Nick told the audience and judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke: ‘I miss performing.

‘And that’s what this experience has done for me, is remind me how much I love singing, how much I love music and how I had the best time going on this incredibly twisted, weird ride that is The Masked Singer.’

‘When you sang, you sang with so much emotion,’ praised Robin.

‘There was always so much emotion in your voice, you could feel it and then you were so silly in-between. It was just a loveable character that took us all.’

‘I had a ball doing it,’ Nick enthused.

Besides the final three, the fifth season of The Masked Singer US also featured the likes of Kermit The Frog as Snail, Caitlyn Jenner as Phoenix, Mark McGrath as Orca, and Logan Paul as Grandpa Monster.

Danny Trejo also appeared as Raccoon, Tamera Mowry-Housley as Seashell, Tyrese Gibson as Robopine, Omarion as Yeti, Hanson as Russian Dolls, Bobby Brown as Crab, and Tamera Mowry as Seashell.

Oh, and the Masked Singer US presenter Nick Cannon was also competing on the series as Bulldog.

The crazy twist aired last month when guest host Niecy Nash introduced the Bulldog as a wildcard contestant, with Nick stepping away from hosting duties.

Hanson also made history on the show as they became the first ever band to compete.

The Masked Singer US airs on Fox.
