“We’re All Putting Pressure on Ourselves”- Kyle Larson on Gunning for Record-Breaking Win
When Chase Elliott won the Cup race at the Circuit of The Americas, he helped equal a record. To be precise, the Hendrick Motorsports team has taken 268 Cup wins, equalling Richard Petty Enterprises.
Now, the battle is on between Elliott, Kyle Larson, Alex Bowman and William Byron to break the record. Unsurprisingly, Kyle Larson confessed that he would like to be the one to break the record for the team.
He said, “All four of us are probably putting a lot of pressure on ourselves. We’re all putting a lot of pressure on ourselves to be that guy that can get that next win for Mr. H [Rick Hendrick]. Just to put him in his own league.”

Without a doubt, the Asian-American driver hopes that he will earn the team’s 269th win. After all, it isn’t every day that a team gets a chance to break a record that a NASCAR legend set.
Larson praised Hendrick’s organizational skills and even had plenty of kind words to say about the people working there.
At the end of the day, Kyle Larson insisted that he is incredibly lucky to be part of the outfit. This is why he and his teammates will be determined to bring as much success to their stable.
All four drivers are supremely talented in their own right, and Chase Elliott is even the defending champion. For the moment, the Hendrick quartet is happy to head to Charlotte on a high note.
Elliott will be extra motivated, especially because he won the inaugural race at the Circuit of The Americas. In addition, he will want to keep up the momentum at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The question is, will one of the Hendrick boys win, or will another driver from another team spoil the party?
