Marilyn Manson has been accused of rape and sexual abuse by a former girlfriend.

The woman, referred to as Jane Doe in a lawsuit, claims to have dated the singer for more than 10 years.

The rock star, 52, real name Brian Warner, allegedly raped and sexually abused her a number of times in 2011 and she also claims he showed her a film of himself abusing another woman.

In the clip, he is said to have tied the other woman to a chair before giving her urine to drink, and he is alleged to have threatened her with a firearm.

The woman claims Manson told her he filmed the video in 1996 after appearing at the Hollywood Bowl in California.

He is said to have kept it locked in a safe, however a source told People the videotape is an unreleased scripted short film.

The musician is being sued for damages, with the complainant saying she was scared for her life after seeing the tape and that sex with him became increasingly violent.

She also alleges Manson forced her to perform oral sex against her wishes.

When she later attempted to give him back a key to his home, she claims he raped her and threatened to kill her, adding in the complaint that ‘he would “get away with it” if he indeed murdered her’.

The woman felt able to come forward with the complaint after several other people spoke out.

Manson has been sued by his former assistant Ashley Walters for harassment, sexual assault and battery.

It follows Ashley Morgan Smithline’s accusations against the singer of being sexually, psychologically, and physically abusive during their relationship.

At the time of the allegations, Smithline was one of 15 women, including actresses Evan Rachel Wood and Bianco, who had made accusations against the star.

Manson’s actress ex Evan Rachel Wood alleged she was sexually assaulted by the star, something he denies.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department previously told Metro.co.uk: ‘The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Special Victims Bureau is investigating allegation(s) of domestic violence involving Mr. Brian Warner also known as “Marilyn Manson,” who works in the music industry.’

In a statement shared on Instagram, Manson said: ‘Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.

‘My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted representatives for Marilyn Manson for comment.
