Logan Paul Admits He Treated Floyd Mayweather Fight Like ‘A Circus’ but It’s Now ‘Personal’
Logan Paul has made some shocking revelations that added energy to his upcoming exhibition bout. 0-1 as a pro, Paul understands the challenge an unbeaten world champion like Floyd Mayweather would bring. However, the five-division champion hasn’t terrified him.
Prior to the clash on June 6, ‘The Maverick’ connected with Brian Campbell via Showtime and revealed several insights into the fight camp.
“It is a circus, but I’ma be honest, I wasn’t at first. Like I was treating this really kinda respectful exhibition, wanted to acknowledge Floyd’s career path and everything he has accomplished and I was trying to be respectful. And then my brother took his hat, and he said he was gonna kill Jake [Paul], and like I won’t take that sh** lightly. It’s become super personal,” said Logan Paul.
The situation would have been different without the controversial face-off between Mayweather and Paul. Apart from verbal banter, both men got involved in a physical altercation that broke the barriers. However, Logan Paul’s brother Jake Paul had a pivotal role in it.
Apart from mocking Mayweather, ‘The Problem Child’ even trash-talked the unbeaten boxer and snatched his cap. That’s when Mayweather became violent and charged at the YouTubers. The situation became vile and appeared out of control. However, the security personnel intervened and separated them.
