Bungie hires longtime Capcom producer in Peter Fabiano

Recently, longtime Capcom producer, Peter Fabiano announced his decision to leave the company after working for over 13 years at the esteemed Japanese studio. He was at the helm of the developer’s most iconic franchise in Resident Evil. He was also the producer in several projects of the series including the most recent ones in Resident Evil 7 and Biohazard,

Fabiano wasn’t only a Director/Producer for the Capcom franchise. He was also in one of the games, as a character model for Peter Walken in Resident Evil 7. Fans of the series would remember the iconic character immediately, and they would definitely be disappointed with the news of his departure.

Along with his exit from Capcom, Peter Fabiano also mentioned about his next move to Bungie. Many fans speculated about his role at the company but he has thrown in a brief hint at what franchise he might be a part of.

Fabiano joins the Destiny franchise

Along with his decision to join Bungie, Fabiano also revealed that he will be part of the team working on the Destiny series. Fans found out about it, after he quoted ‘Eyes Up, Guardians’ in his tweet. It’s interesting to see a highly talented Director/Producer join a famous franchise, instead of an entirely new IP.

Destiny 2 fans should have high hopes regarding the content that will be added in the coming years. It remains to be seen how long this iteration of the game will run before Bungie eventually releases Destiny 3. Along with that, Fabiano should also have a big hand in the development of the next title of the series, and fans can’t wait for it to arrive.
