Fans React to The Epic Stadium Stampede Clash Between Inner Circle and The Pinnacle at Double or Nothing
AEW Double or Nothing is in the books, and we witnessed a hell of a PPV. The show kicked off with a wonderful opener and closed out with the most satisfying end to a PPV in a long time. Sammy Guevara won the Stadium Stampede match for the Inner Circle and the group sticks together.
Fans react to Inner Circle winning Stadium Stampede
The fans inside Daly’s Place sang along to Judas as the Inner Circle rappelled from the TIAA Bank Field scoreboard. They engaged in a brilliant and entertaining battle with the Pinnacle, who brought their A-game tonight.
Tonight’s PPV did what they needed to do. Very enjoyable.

MJF, Wardlow, Shawn Spears and FTR looked set to beat Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz, since they won inside Blood and Guts. However, things couldn’t have gone differently at Double or Nothing. With the future of the group at stake, the Inner Circle literally fought for their lives.
Somehow I’m the only person in the world who thought the Stadium Stampede match meant whoever lost had to disband, not just the Inner Circle, so MAN was I confused at the end.

Alright, now that the Stadium Stampede is over, enough of the faction vs. faction crap. Enough of the excuses, enough of the delay, enough of the bull.
NOW, we NEED to get LAX & FTR back in the tag division. NO. MORE. EXCUSES.

Jericho and MJF brawled into the Jacksonville Jaguars offices, bumping into team coach Urban Meyer. They tortured each other, driving each other into walls, throwing them through glass and even powerbombing them through a crate.

Pinnacle vs. Inner Circle Stadium Stampede match was a very wonderful and entertaining spectacle.
AEW’s Double or Nothing 2021 show was mostly amazing overall.

Wardlow and Hager picked up their rivalry with a hoss fight. The tag teams of the respective factions had a brawl in a disco which saw Konnan [ex-manager of LAX] play the role of a DJ. In the end, Spears and Guevara fought their way back into the ring, where Guevara ate a chair shot to the head but survived.
After dropping him with the GTH, Guevara hit the 630 splash and secure his teammates future in AEW.

Were the fans the MVP of the show?
AEW Double or Nothing became the first show during the pandemic to host a PPV with a full capacity. With lockdown rules from the CDC softened, having fans inside Daly’s Place was the perfect way to kick off this new era and leave behind the old one.
The sound and sight of fans singing Chris Jericho‘s entrance theme was absolutely glorious. Listening to the crowd made it clear that Jericho is easily one of the most influential wrestlers of all time. The sound of thousands of fans singing Judas by Fozzy is a sound we all missed dearly.
We can’t underestimate the value of having fans in seats. AEW might just give gotten a head-start in this rat race.
