Can the champions Israel Adesanya and Deiveson Figueiredo defend their belts at UFC 263?
For both champions, ‘Daico’ and ‘The Last Style Bender’ the men standing across the cage from them on June 12th will be familiar faces. Adesanya previously faced Vettori early on in his career. Although Adesanya won the fight, it was not his most convincing performance as he secured a split decision win over ‘The Italian Dream’.
Figueiredo and Moreno, on the other hand, put on a fight of the year contender towards the end of last year. They both took the fight on short notice and made a quick turnaround after their respective fights. Both men swung leather from the very minute of the fight and displayed tremendous heart to last all five rounds.
Now with a full training camp and over six-months of time away from the sport, both fighters will be ready and energized to put on a good display.
