AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has revealed how she ‘panics’ over her outfits due to wearing a compression vest 23 hours a day.

The professional dancer suffered third-degree burns after becoming engulfed in flames during an accident in January. She had been filming an Instagram video involving a wine bottle and flaming rope when the life hack went terribly wrong.

Over the weekend, Abbie and AJ enjoyed a date night at the theatre to watch West End production Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Abbie, 24, shared photos of her wearing a pretty red and orange floral dress and explained how her injuries have made it difficult to choose what clothes to wear.

In one post, the dancer explained: ‘There’s only a few things I feel comfortable wearing at the moment and this dress is one of them 🙌🏼💕.

‘Definitely am finding it hard to find what to wear at the moment as I have to wear a compression vest 23 hours a day under my clothes and keep my scars out of the sun I’m always panicking about what I’m going to wear before I leave the house so it’s always so lovely to get so many compliments from you all about what I’m wearing! Thank you’

Abbie was bombarded with messages of support from her followers, with one commenting: ‘You could wear a bin bag and still look amazing! But this dress is stunning!’

Relating to her struggle, one said: ‘I’ve had a few surgeries and totally relate to this. Feeling comfortable and confident is so important. You look stunning.’

Another similarly weighed in: ‘Same this weather is a struggle for me as well I am a recent burns survivor and have to also wear compression garments in order to help protect the scars from the sun, none the less you look beautiful and hope your skin is healing well.’

One fan praised: ‘You have looked stunning in anything recently!! I get why you feel anxious, but remember how strong & beautiful you are, whenever do you.’

Last month, Abbie opened up about her terrifying ordeal and admitted she thought she’d never recover, after undergoing three skin grafts and 20 hospital visits.

‘I think when it happened I was just thinking the worst, my face is never going to look the same again,’ she said on ITV’s Lorraine.

‘[I thought] I was always going to have scars on my body, I’m never going to be able to dance or perform and do what I love doing, so I instantly thought that was it for me. Luckily my face is healing really well.’

Abbie added: ‘I’m doing a lot better than I was, that’s for sure. My face has almost healed now.’
