Floyd Mayweather’s Hair: Did He Have A Hair Transplant?

Floyd Mayweather is no less than a cosmic brand in the fight world today. In his prolonged boxing stint, Mayweather transitioned to multiple weight classes and left as a champion in every division. This made him a fan favorite in no time, and he grabbed every boxing lover’s attention for obvious reason. But as famous as he is for his in-ring skills, Mayweather is equally known for his style game and overall well-being.

Recently, he broke into the news for undergoing through a hair and a beard transplant. Although there’s nothing official pertaining to this transplant that came from Mayweather’s end, the fans still seemed eager to know more on this subject.

That said, a hair restoration surgeon, Dr. Gary Linkov put some spotlight on this matter and revealed whether ‘TBE’ really went through a transplant.

He said, “This much hair for the beard could easily take up like 1400, probably closer to 1800 grafts. And then, depending, I can’t see the full head, depending how much hair he needed here, you’re looking at probably at least another thousand if you just did into the frontal area.”

“So that’s a lot of grafts and probably he did a transplant of maybe two thousand, maybe twenty-two hundred, up to maybe 2600 grafts.”

Floyd Mayweather is a self-obsessed fighter, and he does everything he can to be in his ideal frame. That said, the 50-0 boxer decided on going through transplantation, thus elevating his style and persona to another level.
