JoJo Siwa has admitted she’s desperately trying to get out of kissing a male co-star in her upcoming film, as she’s ‘madly in love’ with her girlfriend.

The YouTube star and singer came out as gay earlier this year, receiving an outpouring of love from friends and fans.

As JoJo gears up to star in Paramount movie Bounce, she revealed she’s got some concerns about a certain kissing scene, and is trying to get it pulled from the movie.

‘I’m madly in love and I do not want to kiss another human. Especially because it’s a man,’ the 18-year-old told EW.

She added that she’s worried fans won’t separate her from her character, explaining: ‘That’s what they look at me as, not some character, not some fictional thing. And so it’s going to be a little weird.’

‘I’m not about it,’ she insisted. ‘I’m trying to get it pulled so bad. It’ll happen. It’ll get pulled.’

Bounce will see JoJo star as a teenage girl who wishes she could trade in her family for a new one on Christmas Day.

Her wish is granted and she finds herself ‘bouncing’ into the lives of other girls and living Christmas Day on repeat, teaching her a lot of lessons along the way.

The movie is set to be adapted from Megan Shull’s book of the same name, and will be produced by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s production company, Westbrook.

JoJo came out as gay earlier this year and later introduced fans to her girlfriend, Kylie Prew, who she recently described as ‘the best, most amazing, wonderful girlfriend in the entire world who makes me so, so, so happy.’

The pair have been sharing the sweetest loved-up snaps, with the YouTube star also explaining that she doesn’t want to label her sexuality.

‘I have thought about this, and the reason I’m not going to say this answer is because I don’t really know this answer. I think humans are awesome, I think humans are really incredible people,’ she said on Instagram.

‘Right now, I’m super duper happy and I want to share everything with the world, I really do, but I also want to keep things in my life private until they are ready to be public.

‘Right now what matters is that you guys know that no matter who you love, that it’s okay and that it’s awesome and the world is there for you.’

JoJo added: ‘There are so many people that are there for you. I know that everyone’s situation is different and it might be harder for some people and it might be easier for some people to come out or be themselves but I think coming out has this stigma around it — that it’s this really, really scary thing, but it’s not anymore.

‘There are so many accepting and loving people out there that it’s okay. Of course people are going to say it’s not normal, but nothing is normal. Literally not one thing about anybody is normal and it’s okay not to be normal, it’s okay to be a little different, it’s okay to be a little weird, strange, different.

‘That’s something we should never, ever be afraid of. That’s something we should be proud of. … I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, that’s what matters.’
