EastEnders’ Louisa Lytton reveals behind-the-scenes trick to hide her growing baby bump on camera

EASTENDERS star Louisa Lytton has revealed one of the tricks she’s used to hide the fact she’s heavily pregnant.

The Ruby Allen actress posed a video pointing out the character has developed a love of flowing scarves that cover up the bump.

Louisa Lytton revealed how EastEnders bosses are covering up her bump

The 32-year-old star shared a video from the set writing: “Forever hiding the bump at work like…”

She then revealed the large, lightweight clothes Ruby had been dressed in, complete with a floaty scarf to really cover things up.

The star revealed she was pregnant in a sweet video she made with fiance Ben Bhanvra and posted on Mother’s Day.

It saw their pet dog posing in a cute neckerchief that read: “My parents are getting me a human.”

EastEnders are past masters at hiding the stars’ pregnancies, having handled the baby bumps of everyone from Jacqueline Jossa to Natalie Cassidy.

Jac, who played Lauren Branning in the soap for years, ran into similar problems when she was pregnant.

She told fans: “Feeling huge today, only going to get bigger now trying to hide bump on set isn’t easy anymore #bumpproblems.”

But Jo Joyner, who played her mum Tanya, told her: “I remember the trouble – [use] washing baskets, huge bags, Xmas shopping, piles of towels.”
