Sam Taylor-Johnson gets romantic tattoo of husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s name
Sam Taylor-Johnson has got a tattoo of her husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s name on her collarbone.
The Fifty Shades of Grey director now has an inking to pair with Aaron’s, who has ‘Sam’ tattooed on his chest next to a hummingbird in mid-flight.
The inkings were revealed by tattoo artist Dr Woo, who posted a picture on Instagram and tagged the filmmaker, 54, revealing she decided to get tatted up alongside the Kick-Ass star, 30.
The caption read: ‘Captured a healed hummingbird on Aaron and added some love ✍🏼 for Sam.’
The couple posed next to each other for the photo with the actor standing just behind his wife, showing off their tatts.
According to People, Sam posted two red heart emoji in the replies before the comments were turned off.
The couple met on the set of her film Nowhere Boy in 2009 and went on to marry in Somerset in 2012. They share daughter Romy, nine, and Wylda, 11 and Sam has two other children from a previous relationship.
She recently celebrated Aaron’s new role as superhero villain Kraven The Hunter, set to be directed by Triple Frontier’s J.C. Chandor.
The comic book character gained superhuman strength and stamnina after being injected with a serum and is known for wearing a lion’s head and mane.
The director posted a picture of a moody looking Kraven from the comics, stating simply in the caption: ‘My husband’.
Aaron spoke about their age gap in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2019, insisting there was ‘no funny business at all’ while they worked on Nowhere Boy.
Confessing he was uncomfortable with the focus on their relationship, he continued: ‘The attention was intrusive. But having to deal with that early in my career probably got me to a place where I can more quickly just go, “Oh, f**k it”.’
