Tom Parker has revealed a vile message he received from a troll who told him that he would not beat his brain tumour.

The Wanted star, 32, who was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma – an aggressive brain tumour – in September 2020, has been sharing updates on his treatment and progress on social media.

He posted a photo of the tablets he was taking as part of his treatment, telling fans he was on ‘cycle 3 of beating cancer’s a**’.

A troll then responded to the post to cruelly remark: ‘Nobody has ever beat what you have. You can fight like hell, but it will get you.’

Tom shared a screenshot of the message, adding: ‘What the f**k is wrong with some people…Idiot Bruv!! Yeah well watch me beat it d**k stain!!!’

He revealed that the content of the message didn’t upset him so much as the fact someone had actually spent the time to write that to a stranger.

Tom said: ‘What’s more sad about that post that someone put, like I’m not even bothered about what they’ve actually said.

‘The fact that they’ve gone out of their way to say that is just ridiculous. It doesn’t make sense. Why would you do that?’

Tom has been battling the brain tumour since September 2020 and recently revealed that he has had a ‘significant reduction’ after radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

His wife, Kelsey Parker, with whom Tom shares two-year-old daughter Aurelia and baby son Bodhi, told the Loose Women panel: ‘Tom’s doing really well. We had a meeting last Thursday and he’s just had another stable scan, so he’s doing so well.

‘We’ve only just started our second round [of chemotherapy], so we’ve had radio and chemo, we’ve had a bit of a break, because he had a bit of a dodgy liver, and now we’ve just started the second round of chemo.

‘The tumour has shrunk, we’ve had a significant reduction. We were all just in tears when we got that news in January.

‘We just couldn’t believe it, that he’d had radio and chemo and he’s had a significant reduction after that. We were just all so overwhelmed.’
