Manny Pacquiao has laced up his boxing gloves to prepare for a shot at the welterweight gold against Errol Spence Jr. in August. Following his back-to-back wins in 2019, ‘Pac-Man’ went silent on his career for a brief period.
His political role and his advanced age compelled many to predict retirement for Pacquaio. However, the former champion still has the itch to fight, and has started training to take out the undefeated Errol Spence Jr. Pacquaio has posted a clip of his sparring session on social media, which has already taken the combat universe by storm.
Starting from pad work, mitt work, to displaying sheer speed, jab, and footwork, Pacquiao is back in rhythm. Although beating Spence Jr. wouldn’t be easy, the Filipino legend has all the tools to accomplish the win. He has the experience, skill, fighting IQ, and several more tools on board.
