It seems Bachelor in Paradise 2021 is going to look a little different after comedian David Spade has been lined up to replace Chris Harrison.
Chris stepped back from his role in Bachelor Nation after he was criticized for defending contestant Rachael Kirkconnell when she was accused of racist behavior.
Emmanuel Acho was announced as his replacement as host of The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special, while Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are running the show on The Bachelorette.
Now actor David – who starred in The Do-Over alongside Adam Sandler – is claimed to be the man that will be on hand to try and help the 2021 cast find lasting love.

Chris Harrison will not return for the next season of Bachelor in Paradise, reports say.
Page Six broke the news on Wednesday that Chris will not host the upcoming season while Variety reports that the role will be shared by celebrity comedians, including David.
David has proven to be a superfan of The Bachelor franchise, as he regularly posts about the shows on Twitter and Instagram.
Sources told Page Six that David was chosen to replace Chris because he has built a cult following among fellow fans due to his hilarious commentary about the show.
What movies has David Spade been in?
David Spade has starred in a slew of comedic films and has also voiced a number of iconic animated characters.
The 56-year-old star was a cast member on Saturday Night Live in the 1990s before going on to star in films like Black Sheep, Joe Dirt, and Grown Ups part one and two.
The actor also voiced Ranger Frank in The Rugrats Movie and Kuzco in The Emperor’s New Groove animated film.
Who is in the Bachelor in Paradise 2021 cast?
The official cast for Bachelor in Paradise 2021 hasn’t been announced just yet.
However, ABC executive Robert Mills confirmed that Dr. Joe Park, a contestant from Tayshia and Clare’s season of The Bachelorette, would be taking part.
The Anesthesiologist was eliminated in the top 16 of The Bachelorette but was a fan favorite among viewers for his one-liners.
There are also rumors that Noah Erb, Chasen Nick, and Spencer Robertson from Crawley/Adams’ season have been cast.
Other rumored additions include Kit Keenan, Madison Prewett, Connor Saeli, Ed Waisbrot, Chris Randone, Victoria Fuller, and Clay Harbor.

The new season of Bachelor in Paradise will begin airing on ABC on August 16.
