The trailer for Below Deck Mediterranean season six has finally landed, with Hannah Ferrier’s replacement confirmed.

The chief stewardess was sacked midway through series five after a controversial drug related drama, with fans not-so patiently waiting to see who would pick up her epaulettes.

Katie Flood has now been cast in the role, and will be taking charge of the interior crew when the ‘Lady Michelle’ sets sail around Croatia, with new episodes released on HayU on June 29.

Introducing herself to viewers in the teaser, she says: ‘Guess what, I’m your chief stew now. This is how you’ll do it.’

But this is Below Deck and nothing stays calm for long, with Katie seen having it out with her stews, telling one of them: ‘Right now, I’m p****d off with you’.

There is also drama ahead for bosun Malia White and Captain Sandy Yawn, who have reunited for another charter season on choppy waters.

The pair divided viewers with their actions last year, concerning the drama around Hannah’s exit – when Malia sent the Captain a photo showing a prescription box of Valium and a THC pen from her cabin, after which she was asked to leave the boat.

This was met with a huge backlash from fans and fellow Below Deck alum – especially as the sacked stew later produced a medical prescription for the tablets as she suffers with anxiety, and she also stated that the THC pen contained a CBD oil, which is legal in Spain.

Things seem to be kicking off between the pair in the trailer, with one scene showing them arguing over their castmates.

When the Captain appears to write the deckie up for ‘an incident report’, Malia quickly reminds her: ‘I’m not a chief officer’.

‘I don’t give a f**k! You should have come to me [and told me] that he was hurt,’ she yelled back, as the cameras panned to a crew member in an ambulance.

Fires, fights, hospital visits and boatmances – this next series seems to have it all…

The official synopsis reads: ‘This season the crew boards the 180-foot mega yacht “Lady Michelle” and embarks on an exciting new charter season as they head to Šibenik, the oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

‘Personalities clash and tension quickly escalates as a crew member’s grudges start to rock the boat and disrupt the workflow. In a shocking franchise first, a serious crisis occurs before the opening charter, leaving the staff to worry if the season will be over before it even begins.

‘While unprecedented permutations in the crew structure disrupt the dynamic of the boat, one department head’s new management style causes friction that spans to the entire crew.

‘Amidst roommate issues and health scares, the staff encounters one demanding charter group after another, all while continuing to provide the seven-star service that is expected in the Med.

‘Between charters, long workdays lead to late night hijinks, surprising hook-ups and one heated, over-the-top argument in the hot tub that leaves the group at a crossroads.’

Bring it on.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 6 will be available to stream on HayU from June 29.
