Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite to Introduce ’Cooler-Looking’ Effects With Updated System Requirements
Epic Games has now revealed splendid changes coming to the visuals of Fortnite. Starting next week, gamers will receive an elaborate update for V17.00. This patch is going to upgrade epic and high visual settings, and elaborate new effects, which will make the game more appealing. The studio is planning to add enhanced post-processing features, and also add improved shadow quality.
These upgrades will roll out with Season 7 and the studio has also shared a new system requirement for enhanced settings.

Fortnite will add upgraded visuals with the Season 7 update
In a recent blog post, Epic Games has shared detailed news about the new settings and graphical upgrades. Fans will get a chance to run the title at higher settings, which will upgrade the visuals exponentially. The studio has clarified that pre-V17.00’s ‘epic’ graphic settings will become ‘high’ graphic settings.
Similarly, new epic settings will showcase boosted visuals, shadow quality, and unforeseen effects. This does not mean that the title will become unplayable for players with entry-level rigs. The studio has assured that these upgrades are only aimed at the owners of prominent PC specifications.
The Battle Royale game will continue to run at the same speed and graphical setting at both medium and low settings. Gamers will not find any performance lag or issue with the upcoming patch.

New performance requirements for epic, minimum and recommended settings
If you are among the few gamers, who like to play this title at maxed-out settings, then you might need to refer to new system requirements. Epic Games has revealed new recommended settings to run the game, as the title continues to evolve.

- 4 GB VRAM or higher
- Intel Core i7-8700, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, or equivalent
- 16 GB RAM or higher
- NVMe Solid State Drive
- Windows 10 64-bit
Similarly, the studio has also revealed the new minimum and recommended requirement settings to run the game.
