Deontay Wilder Sticks by His Accusations Against Tyson Fury: ‘I Knew What Was Going On With My Body’

Deontay Wilder got his wish and will face Tyson Fury for the third time in a bid to regard his WBC heavyweight belt. The loss in February was Wilder’s first career defeat, and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ did not take it well.

Months after his loss, Wilder posted a bizarre video in which he attacked Tyson Fury. He accused ‘The Gypsy King’ of cheating in their bout and even called him a coward for not honoring the rematch. And now, the former heavyweight champion of the world has stuck by his accusations.

The 42-1-1 boxer spoke to Premier Boxing Champions on an Instagram Livestream, and Michael Benson was quick to catch onto it. He aimed at the boxing world and said everyone saw, but no one spoke up. Wilder then referenced Fury’s questionable gloves in the fight and asked why no one spoke about it.

The Bronze Bomber’ then said, “Look, they couldn’t even knock me out even with that Juju. I was under some juice, they [still] couldn’t even knock me out. They couldn’t even keep me down. Like I said, it took a disloyal trainer to throw the towel in.”

The American then added, “I felt it when the mask came off. I knew something was wrong with me, I knew I was not right.”

Deontay Wilder can prove the world wrong

The comments from the former world champion showed he still believes Fury cheated. Moreover, despite all the criticism thrown his way, Wilder continues to say his walkout costume played a part in him losing his fight and still believes someone spiked his water. While he also included a dig at his former trainer Mark Breland.
