Kate Middleton ‘told pals it “wasn’t too late to pull Meghan Markle and Harry back” before Oprah bombshell’, says expert
KATE Middleton told pals that it “wasn’t too late” to “pull Harry and Meghan back into the fold” before their bombshell interview with Oprah, an expert has claimed.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, along with The Queen, is thought to have hoped that the “much loved members of The Firm” would return before the interview aired.

Camilla Tominey told Stella magazine: “I have been reliably informed she was even telling her friends before the Oprah interview that she did not think it was too late to “pull them back in”.’
The royal commenter added that she has been told that “Kate’s natural instinct is to try to smooth things over.”
In the Oprah interview Meghan, 39, accused an unnamed royal of raising “concerns” about the “skin colour” of her and Harry’s children.
She also claimed that Kate made her cry in the run up to her wedding in a series of “truth bombs.”

But more recently Kate stepped into the role of “peacemaker” between the brothers Prince William and Prince Harry, according to her uncle Gary Goldsmith.
The Duchess is described as a “brilliant arbiter” by Goldsmith, 56, who is brother of Kate’s mum Carole Middelton, and is doing all that she can to end the feud between the brothers.
The Ibiza-based recruitment officer says he has been “astonished” by the scathing remarks that the Duke of Sussex has made about the royal family since relocating to the US.

Speaking to Closer, he said: “If Harry doesn’t get a grip and stop this self-indulgent episode, there will soon be no common ground or relationship to rebuild.
“But if anyone can bring peace to the royals, Kate can. Kate is a brilliant arbiter and peacemaker.
“Every bone in her body is about making friends and doing the best she can… she’s trying to mediate.”
It comes after news that Prince William is “concerned” that his brother may go too far with his “truth bombs.”
