Robbie Williams lets Ayda Field shave his hair down to a skinhead despite the fact hairdressers are actually open

Many of us have braved an at-home haircut while salons were closed due to the pandemic (with varying results) but Robbie Williams has carried on the DIY ‘dos ever since.

Ayda Field, 42, shared a video of her giving husband Robbie, 47, a trim this week, taking the singer’s overgrown locks right down to a skinhead.

She wrote: ‘@robbiewilliams Is all or nothing when it comes to his hair …and apparently, it’s nothing now 🙂 #nohairdontcare #instamood #thebaldandthebeautiful #who’snext? AWxx’.

Ayda is seen expertly wielding the clippers as she lops off Robbie’s locks, proving it probably isn’t the first time she has given him a trim at home.

While salons were shut for the best part of a year, barbers and hairdressers are now open so corona cuts are a thing of the past for most.

Thankfully, Ayda did a really good job on Robbie’s hair and the singer rocks the shaven headed look very well.

It comes after Robbie’s former bandmate Gary Barlow revealed that Take That could be back on tour sooner than expected.

He told The Sun: ‘We’re desperate to come back and do something, as soon as big venues are up and running again.

‘I don’t know what it will be yet, whether it’s a tour or album, or both even. But Take That are going nowhere.’

The band celebrated their 30th anniversary with a tour in 2019 to coincide with their greatest hits album, and are also hoping to mark 40 years of Take That in a similar way.

Take That has mostly been operating as a three-piece in recent years, with Robbie and Jason Orange, 50, stepping back to focus on their careers and personal lives while Gary, 50, Mark Owen, 48, and Howard Donald, 50, have remained in the band throughout.
